Spicing up AP with Innovation

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Outcome-based education does not mean that the instruction leading to the goal cannot be innovative and engaging.  Join AP Spanish Language and Literature teacher Katherine Arce and Foreign Language Chair Jim Andersen in exploring varied techniques within the AP curriculum framework.  Come and see examples of:

-          Peer mentoring between grade levels

-          Authentic applications of core objectives such as vocabulary and grammar

-          Student-led discussions emphasizing critical thinking and problem solving

-          Mrs. Arce will join us from Costa Rica via Skype

-          Although the presentation will use AP Spanish lessons as examples, the concepts are applicable in all content areas.
