One Math Classroom’s Journey in Authentic Learning

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Explore how a class project led a semi self-paced, flipped classroom, to rediscover the value of authentic learning.  From lessons such as quilting as a way to understand transformations to collecting and converting receipts to hosting a restaurant, learn how making learning “real” affects student engagement and understanding. We will discuss how a 45 port, 120 day adventure inspired a classroom.  Join us to share in the conversation and participate in the hands on, take-away activities.
