Advances in technology herald new careers for today's students to fulfill. (Who could have imagined that professionals could be paid to write blogs?) While specific "hard skills" are hard to prophesy and teach, the students who master "soft skills"—like teamwork and flexible, innovative independence—will always be in demand by employers and institutions of higher learning. In this workshop, we'll examine the ways in which current curricula and technology can be used to teach students the soft skills that they'll need to succeed—academically and professionally—in the face of unknown future demands. (No crystal ball required!)
